To say that Megan is a cheese connessieur might be pushing it but she IS picky. In the U.S. she would only deign to eat mac & cheese if it was made with organic white cheddar. I blamed this on her being introduced to cheddar in Russia where it was imported from Germany and not dyed orange. Or maybe she was just being picky.
After taste-testing a few types of cheddar she decided upon the above mild Irish cheddar which won her approval even though it is orange. Which you can't see because all that was left at this point was the wrapper. She had eaten the wedge of cheese that was in the package. The German cheddars, while white, were too strong. Sigh.
And did you notice the tag? TESCO -- we have a TESCO!!!!
I am not allowed to complain about grocery shopping while here.
Ever.
LOL - do you remember searching high and low for cheddar in Uruguay?
