And the freaky thing is, the salt leeched out of the crock* -- those white dots on the outside? Dried salt.* Happy with the correct terminology Mom? If this crock didn't weigh so much I'd send it to you for ikebana!
The crock would make a lovely planter or a holder for kitchen tools!
