After recognizing (correctly 20+ years after studying it at U of M!) Trajan's Column while walking down the street back to our apartment I dragged Megan and Jeff back to Trajan's Market the next day.
We saw a wonderful exhibit at the Museum of the Imperial Fora and then wandered the Market.
Then it was off to meet a FS buddy who is currently attached to the US Embassy to the Holy See. Tough assignment Mario's got.
On the way to Mario's office we passed the Circus Maximus.
Which is a totally depressing let-down.
