Purely by luck, it turned out that some friends we had in St. Petersburg had just arrived in Budapest and were in temporary housing which was literally one street over from our hotel.
I kid you not.
We saw them three times. Megan was ecstatic.

Ain't it wonderful when all the forces converge and really GOOD things happen? This must have been so-o-o much fun. Wish I could have such luck in Nairobi. It would be so lovely to hear that some pals from, say, Cracow, would be passing through Kenya for a few days and would like a lively fellow to lead them on safari!
