Rogate Ranczo

Yesterday afternoon/evening we attended the IWAK Fall Festival/Halloween event held at Rogate Ranczo.

Think 'fancy dress' for kids, guess the number of gummy bears in the jar, pumpkin carving contest, etc. topped off with a DJ and much grilled meat.

Yeah, they have serious root vegetables in Poland.

Megan not 100% about feeding the ponies. They were impressively aggressive, actually kicking the poor sheep in the same pen out of the way to get to the carrots.

Jeff feeding the goat who almost choked later -- it tried to snarffle up a rather large chunk of carrot without chewing it. All I could think was, "Yes, it was lots of fun for the kids UNTIL THE GOAT CHOKED."

Let me just say a panicked ruminant is not a pretty sight.

Thanks to quick action on the part of Jeff and Tracey the goat was okay.

She won first place in the costume contest --she did put on the whole outfit for that! I think the maribou feathers on the hat gave her the edge.

It was getting dark so my point and shoot little digital was having some issues, hence the blurriness. Sorry.

I have yet to try it. I just can't do it.

Food was good otherwise! (I admit I skipped the blood pudding...)
