Our December in Review

Yes, I was horribly remiss in posting the last couple of months...just lazy plus there were some illness issues for everyone. We are all *knock on wood* healthy at the present time and I'm clearing through all the things that fell by the wayside with holiday craziness...which means a nice long blog post!

Tree went up right after Thanksgiving so we had more time to enjoy it!

The drunk Santas made it through another move unscathed.

We bought a wreath and Megan decorated it.

Megan decided this was the best way to enjoy hot chocolate.

I perfected my crustless pumpkin pie.

We enjoyed a quick visit to Great Falls while my Aunt and Uncle were in town.
The visit was cut short by Megan not feeling well...by the time we got home she was really sick.
Luckily it passed in a couple of days.

My favorite photo from the day!

Since she recovered so quickly Megan could enjoy her first school band concert.

The program was a total of 45 minutes long.
Perfect length of time.

Our view.

At some point Megan's art project made it home.
It is a melting pineapple.

Megan was bored one evening and made this. She just HAD to take a photo of it...

Xmas morning we gave Ennis a beef chew stick from Trader Joe's.
He was completely focused on it for quite some time.

Megan scored lots of good prezzies.

An excellent addition to my magnet collection.

The carnage!!!!

The day after Christmas we came home to find that Ennis had gotten into a bag of items to go to the local food pantry and had quite impressively selected the bag of Ghirardelli dark chocolate chips (60% cacao) to snack on -- to the tune of 4 oz. missing from the bag. There were three bags of chips in there...he choose the most toxic. Of course.

One emergency trip to the vet and $300 later he was home and snoozing off the effects of the medicine the vet gave him. He was none the worse for wear...I think the rest of us took longer to recover from the stress of the event.

We hope you all had a marvelous holiday season

and

May 2013 bring you and yours only the best of everything!
