I have nothing to add to Barbara's post on this event...except photos. Enjoy!

Cardinal Dziwisz moves around the area blessing easter baskets with liberal amounts of holy water. Behind His Emminence is the provost of the cathedral, Prelate Bronisław Fidelus. I have rarely seen so much press coverage.
Well, some people get a little carried away with the whole basket tradition. And so do some baskets, by our little helpers. No one is taking that sausage away from Łobóz, the basket-hauling hound.
On the square, the faithful don stylin' shades and put their baskets on a table for the blessing. the shades also get blessed.

If nothing else, despite the scrum and the sharp elbows of the overeager faithful, it was a very nice backdrop for a colorful and blessedly quick ceremony.
