Out for Chinese Food (Sort Of)

The day after Christmas we ventured down to visit the Czartoryski Museum, one of my favorites in Krakow. It is about to close indefinitely for renovations. The cashier service is still positively Soviet so that is a nice throwback!

After the museum we wandered about and ended up on Karmelicka where we found...

Now, we'd been warned by um, EVERYONE that the Chinese food here in Krakow is um, not good. But we were hungry. And cold. And it seemed like it couldn't be that bad...

I mean, it had the welcoming elephant out front.

And pretty plants when you walked in the door.

Plus a motorcycle.

And spectacular window treatments.

Plus 'frizzy chicken' which we did not order.

Maybe we should have.

The food wasn't that bad.

If you'd never eaten Chinese before.

At least they had a ratty red lantern...
